My beloved wife Leni was not just my partner in life, but the inspiration behind everything we've built together. When we started this venture, we knew we wanted to create something special. But as we've grown and evolved, we realized that our original name, while meaningful in its own way, didn't truly capture the essence of what we're building here in Hawaiʻi. We wanted a name that would reflect our deep connection to this place we call home, our commitment to Hawaiian values, and most importantly, honor the woman who taught us that business is about relationships, not just transactions.

Our new name, LeniLani, is a beautiful blend of two powerful influences in our lives. "Leni" honors my wife—the woman who showed us that true success comes from lifting others up, from approaching every interaction with genuine aloha, and from never forgetting where you come from.

"Lani" comes from my daughter's Hawaiian middle name, Alohanani. In Hawaiian, "lani" means "heaven" or "sky," representing the limitless possibilities when we work together with respect, love, and shared purpose. Alohanani itself means "beloved of heaven," and when we combine these elements, LeniLani becomes a name that carries both our family's love and the mana of Hawaiʻi.
